Last Saturday in June, the County Administrative Board of Värmland participated in the fishing and outdoor fair in Sysslebäck to present the Improve Aquatic LIFE project. There was great interest among visitors, who learned about the planned measures to improve habitats in Värmland’s rivers.

On Saturday 28/6, the Värmland County Administrative Board participated in a fishing and leisure fair in Sysslebäck in northern Värmland to talk about the Improve Aquatic LIFE project. Several of the measures planned within Improve Aquatic LIFE aim to create better habitats for salmon, which is a designated target species in the project areas Likan and Fämtan.
… very many good conversations during the day
Appreciated meetings
The fair, organised by N:a Finnskogas and Sysslebäcks FVOF, was well attended and appreciated by both young and old. Many visitors showed a great interest in nature and were curious about how restoration work is carried out.

Appreciated discussions between organisers and visitors.

– Participating in the fair was a great opportunity for us to talk about and show the measures planned within the project. It is also a good opportunity for dialog with those who live and work in the area and valuable for gathering feedback. We had a lot of good conversations during the day, and recieved a lot of positive responses, which is very nice, says Sandra Woronin, project manager for Improve Aquatic LIFE and coordinator at the county administrative board in Värmland.
